We all know that the
Spanish enjoy nothing
better than to put a
good meal together with
some fine wine. This
is a custom that may
be lost amongst us Brits.
This problem can be solved
by learning how to make
your very own paella
and other typical Spanish
meals using ancient Mallorcan
techniques whilst tasting
some of the finest produce
from the island.
|
| |
Your Henorita guide
will pick you up outside
your accommodation and
take you by coach to the
east of the island. Here
you will find a log cabin
submerged in dense forest
and surrounded by rocky
mountains. This is the
perfect setting to get
you in the mood. Upon arrival
you will be divided into
teams and the day will
begin.
|
| |
This is an activity where all members of the group are involved and working together. There will be demonstrations to teach you the methods of cooking while giving you a background of the produce you’ll be using. There is plenty of time for you and your mates to get your hands dirty and create your own meals under the careful eye of a professional Mallorcan chef.
|
| |
During this activity
you will learn the art
of Spanish ham cutting
together with salad and
Pa
amb oli (garlic
bread) preparation. The
finale will include
a Paella competition
between you and your
fellow hens.
|
| |
Feel free to pick away
as you taste various
Mallorcan wines, liquors,
cheeses, sausages
etc. Don’t
worry, you will be in
the safe hands of a genuine
Mallorcan chef who will
be there to answer all
questions about origins
and techniques.
|
| |
Once you have finished:
Hey presto! You should
have an incredible meal
in front of you, all
depending on how much
wine you drank, of course!
|
| |
Remember a Henorita
guide will be with you
at all times to deal
with any problems you
may have and to make
sure everything runs
smoothly. Once you have
booked with us we will
devise a projected schedule
for your weekend. If
anything doesn’t
suit you we will be flexible
to any changes you wish.
